), a leading provider of business information delivery solutions, today announced the new and updated RightFax Gateway for IBM Lotus Notes Lotus Notes is a client-server, collaborative application owned by IBM Software Group. IBM defines the software as an "integrated desktop client option for accessing business e-mail, calendars and applications on [an] IBM Lotus Domino server."[1]. . It is an optional module that links Lotus Notes Messaging and groupware software from IBM Lotus that was introduced in 1989 for OS/2 and later expanded to Windows, Mac, Unix, NetWare, AS/400 and S/390. Built for Lotus Notes versions 6.5, 6.0 and 5.0, Notes users need virtually no training to send and receive faxes, because they continue to use Notes in the same way they would send and receive emails. The new RightFax Gateway brings an updated architecture that provides a better user experience and a new interface from the previously released RightFax Gateway for Lotus Notes. Now, users can use their Lotus Notes address books to send and receive faxes with RightFax. RightFax technology is uniquely designed to complement and extend Notes/Domino functionality, without drawing resources away from those critical systems and applications.
