Capstone Turbine Names Noam Lotan to Board of Directors.

CHATSWORTH, Calif. -- Noam Lotan, President, CEO and Director of MRV Communications, Inc., has been named to the board of directors of Capstone Turbine Corporation (www.microturbine.com) (Nasdaq:CPST), the world's leading microturbine power systems manufacturer.

Mr. Lotan's career began in sales and marketing with Hewlett-Packard. He joined Fibronics International, Inc., a manufacturer of fiber optic communications networks in 1987. In 1990, Noam joined the newly founded MRV Communications as its President. He also served as its CFO from 1993 through 1995. The stock of MRV Communications is traded on NASDAQ.
