Capstone Turbine Corporation Announces Executive Appointments; Key Executives Named in Sales, Quality, Administration, Engineering.

Capstone Turbine Capstone Turbine Corporation NASDAQ: CPST, incorporated in 1988, is a California based gas turbine manufacturer that specializes in microturbine power and heat cogeneration systems. Capstone has sold and shipped more than 3,000 of these one-moving-part systems worldwide.  Corporation today announced five executive appointments to new key management positions. Gabriel D. Tashjian has been appointed senior vice-president of sales, Paul Chancellor senior vice-president of engineering, Daniel J. Callahan vice-president of quality deployment, Bill Treece senior vice-president of strategic technology deployment and Wade Welch vice-president of administration.

These follow last week's appointment of Mark Kuntz as Capstone's vice-president of marketing.

Prior to joining Capstone, Tashjian held several senior-level operating management positions in sales and marketing with GE Power Systems in USA and Europe, most recently manager of commercial operations of GE's $4 billion global Energy Services division in Atlanta.
