dealer of Toshiba copier and electronic imaging and of Xerox wide-format copiers, announced Mark Bissinger, Capitol Systems' president.

The Capitol Systems name probably sounds familiar to some members of the Nashville business community.

Capitol Systems was founded in 1980 by Bob Arenth and Bill Faircloth. They hired Bissinger as the company's first employee. The two grew the business significantly, then, in 1990, Danka Imaging purchased the company, later naming Bissinger as Regional Service Manager, supervising 300 field engineers in 11 states.

In 2000, Bissinger purchased the Neopost mailing and shipping equipment dealership and re-established the Capitol Systems name. All existing Neopost customers of Danka were transitioned smoothly.

"Since September 2000, Capitol Systems has focused its efforts on its Neopost mailing and shipping equipment division. The addition of the copier division will allow the company to offer one-stop shopping for businesses from small to large," Bissinger added.

"The feedback we received from clients suggested that given the opportunity, businesses prefer to deal with locally owned service companies. For example, when you call our number, we answer and we are just across town. Our clients always get a real person, not a machine, and customers like that," Bissinger said.

"With my experience in the copier industry, adding the copier division earlier this year was the logical move and an easy transition. First and most importantly Adv. 1. most importantly - above and beyond all other consideration; "above all, you must be independent"
