Capital to have a Spring Carnival on April 18.


ISLAMABAD, 12 April 2009 (Balochistan Times) -- The two-day Spring Carnival featuring a variety of programmes will start here on April 18 at F-9 Park. A National Cooking and Beautician competition will be the special features of the programme in which people from all walks of life will participate. This spring extravaganza ex·trav·a·gan·za

While the women entrepreneurs will also display their handmade products, traditional handicrafts, fabrics and other accessories that will provide a market to their products and an opportunity to introduce their innovative designs. The event is being organized by LXG LXG League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (movie)  Multi Dimensional in collaboration with Masala TV. Popular showbiz celebrities will adjudicate adjudicate (jōō´dikāt´),

 the National Beautician competition in which beauticians from all over the country can participate. While the renowned chefs including Zakir, Mehboob, Kokab Khawaja and Shai will be the judges of the cooking competition. With the theme of Pakistani Food, the cooking competition will be open for all the females of over 16 years of age while the cash prizes will be awarded to the winning participants.
