Capital campaign kicks off; Crawford Library committee aims to raise $1 million by May.

DUDLEY - The Capital Campaign Committee for the Pearle L. Crawford Memorial Library has launched its campaign for a new library, using the theme "The Resource for Dudley's Future."

In addition to the $1 million campaign goal, the library has been approved to receive $2.3 million from the state and has also received a $2 million pledge from Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Crawford Sir Hugh Crawford (~1195 - ~1265) was the Second Sheriff of Ayrshire, Chief of Clan Crawford, and Lord of Loudon Castle.
