CSU - Channel Service Unit. ), one of the country's largest operators and developers of residential communities for senior adults, announced today that it has signed a term sheet with GMAC GMAC General Motors Acceptance Corporation GMAC Graduate Management Admission Council GMAC Give Me A Call GMAC Genetic Manipulation Advisory Committee GMAC Genetic Modification Advisory Committee (Singapore) GMAC Give Me A Chance Commercial Mortgage to finance the forthcoming mergers with ILM Senior Living, Inc., and ILM II Senior Living, Inc. (the ILMs). The term sheet that has been signed with GMAC Commercial Mortgage will provide acquisition financing for the $172 million cash purchase of 13 senior housing facilities owned by the ILMs. The Company expects the acquisition financing, which is subject to certain terms and conditions, to be obtained on favorable terms. A commitment is anticipated prior to the mailing of proxies by the ILMs to their shareholders. The Company further anticipates that the ILMs' shareholders will approve the mergers and conclude the transactions in second quarter 2000. The Company has been operating the ILM communities under management agreements since 1996.
