:IM) exclusive VentureTech Network(TM).

Acceptance into the program, by invitation only, is based on sales volume and technical expertise. The VentureTech Network(TM) is a membership organization for information technology (IT) systems integrators targeting the small- and midsize-business (SMB (1) (Small to Medium-sized Business) Also called "SME" (small to medium-sized enterprise), it refers to companies that are larger than the small office/home office (SOHO), but not huge. ) market.

As part of the agreement, CIS will use Ingram's eStoreFront technology to fulfill customer technology requirements via the web. Ingram Micro will also assist CIS in branding strategy and strategic marketing. Additionally, Ingram Micro will provide vendor sponsored leads from national advertising programs.

IBM's product lines include the S/390 mainframes (zSeries), AS/400 midrange business systems (iSeries), RS/6000 workstations and servers (pSeries), Intel-based servers (xSeries)  Credit Corporation (NYSE:IBM), will provide the Accounts Receivable accounts receivable n. the amounts of money due or owed to a business or professional by customers or clients. Generally, accounts receivable refers to the total amount due and is considered in calculating the value of a business or the business' problems in paying  and Inventory funding necessary to complete customer transactions on a national scale. CIS currently has a $4,000,000 line of credit with IBM Credit Corporation and is on track to increase sales by thirty percent during the year 2000.
