CCPO has directed Lahore Police that redressal of legitimate grievances of the citizens should not be allowed to be turned into just a routine matter. The CCPO Lahore appealed the general public to co-operate with the police to help in eradicating crimes and inform police about any suspicious and criminal elements. During the open court, the CCPO gave sympathetic hearing to every visiting citizen individually and issued on-the-spot instructions on a number of applications. He directed concerned officers to take every prompt possible step to ensure redressal of genuine complaints of every citizen. CCPO also appealed to the citizens of Lahore to keep a vigilant eye on their immediate surroundings and inform police, without delay, about any suspicious activities in their locality in order to help eradicate acts of terrorism and other heinous hei·nous adj.
