Mr. Tenwick founded Adcare Health Systems in 1991. Prior to founding Adcare, he was an independent business consultant from 1982 to 1990, where he served as a director and an officer of several businesses, including Douglass Financial Corporation, a surety company, and AmeriCare Health & Retirement, Inc., a long-term care management company. From 1967 until 1982, Mr. Tenwick was a co-founder and director of Nucorp Energy, Inc., a publicly-traded energy company that invested in oil and gas properties and commercial and residential real estate. Prior to founding Nucorp, he was an enforcement attorney for the United States Securities and Exchange Commission.
