Capital Brands Shareholders Approve Name Change to CompScript; Company Announces Outcome of Voting at Annual Meeting of Shareholders.

(Nasdaq Small Cap: CAAS n. sing. & 1. Case. ) today announced that at its Annual Meeting of Shareholders held on July 3, 1996, the Company's shareholders approved a change in the Company's name to CompScript, Inc. The Company's common stock will begin trading under its new Nasdaq symbol, CPRX, effective today.

The Company also announced that the following individuals were elected to serve on the Company's Board of Directors:

Brian A. Kahan, 44, has served as Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of the Company since April 1996. Mr. Kahan founded Aldencare, a provider of pharmaceuticals, infusion therapy, and management and consulting services in 1991 and served as its Chief Executive Officer until Aldencare's merger with CompScript in 1994.

Martha M. Little, 35, has served as Vice President and Director of the Company since April 1996. Ms. Little has been with Aldencare and CompScript since 1991, serving as Pharmacy Manager from 1991 until 1993. She was promoted to Vice President in 1992.

Gerard N. Altieri, 66, has been a Director of the Company since April 1996. Mr. Altieri formed CompScript, Inc. in 1993. From 1986 to 1993, Mr. Altieri was President of Insurx, a pharmacy benefit management A Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) is a third party administrator of prescription drug programs. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 74,764; the 2006 population recorded by the U.S. Census Bureau was 86,396. .
