Capio Acquires Medocular AB.

GOTHENBURG, Sweden--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 20, 2001

Capio (OMX OMX Office Max (stock symbol) :CAP.) has acquired 100% of the shares in Medocular AB, the largest private company in the eye healthcare (ophthalmologic) field in the Nordic region. Medocular has annual sales of slightly more than SEK SEK

Capio AB has acquired all of Medocular's operations in Uppsala, Stockholm, Norrkoping, Linkoping, Gothenburg and Malmo, all in Sweden. Medocular, which was established 15 years ago, is today the largest private-sector company in the ophthalmic ophthalmic /oph·thal·mic/ (of-thal´mik) ocular (1).
