Capgemini Government Solutions Wins Washington DC Government Contract for PeopleSoft Implementation.

CAPGEMINI GOVERNMENT SOLUTIONS WINS WASHINGTON DC GOVERNMENT CONTRACT FOR PEOPLESOFT IMPLEMENTATION

Capgemini Government Solutions LLC ("Capgemini Government Solutions"), a wholly owned subsidiary of Capgemini U.S. LLC, which is a subsidiary of Capgemini S.A., one of the world's largest providers of Consulting, Technology and Outsourcing services, announced today it has been selected to deliver a PeopleSoft Payroll implementation for the Government of the District of Columbia ("DC Government").

The companies have signed an agreement valued at almost $11 million, over 20 months, for the PeopleSoft implementation across the payroll, T&A, pension and benefits administration modules as part of an overall DC Government Administration System Modernization Program (ASMP). The net effect will be to help reduce costs and improve efficiency for the District of Columbia.

Other companies that collaborated with Capgemini Government Solutions on the winning bid included Sogeti USA LLC (the local professional services subsidiary of Capgemini) and Ginicorp, a local Washington IT staffing firm.
