to Streamline Provisioning Times

CapRock Communications Corp. (Nasdaq:CPRK CPRK Crowne Plaza Riverside Kuching (Malaysia) ) has incorporated MetaSolv Software Inc.'s (Nasdaq:MSLV) Telecom Business Solution(TM) (TBS(TM)) software to enhance its Operations Support System (OSS Oss (ôs), city (1994 pop. 62,141), North Brabant prov., S Netherlands; chartered 1399. It is a significant industrial center. Manufactures include meat products, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, electrical equipment, and metalware. ), enabling the Dallas-based integrated communications provider (ICP) to reduce the time needed to provision new services.

MetaSolv's order management and service fulfillment solution enables next-generation communications providers to better manage and deploy their bundled service offerings. MetaSolv's TBS software is composed of subsystems supporting order management, network inventory and design, trouble resolution, service provisioning and gateway management. TBS software will enable CapRock to improve provisioning times, manage network inventory, track service orders, and ensure accuracy of information across an organization by automating a number of management business functions. The TBS solution will provide the infrastructure for full life-cycle integration of the order flow process and is a strategic component of CapRock's OSS architecture.
