The offering also permits rapid, artificial-intelligence based, automated walk-throughs of Year 2000 renovated code.

The TransMillennium(TM) QUICKcheck(TM) offering -- for use primarily with COBOL and PL/I programs -- includes two complementary components that help companies test their renovation to increase the likelihood that systems will process dates across the millennium. The two components are: "Smart Data Aging, " which helps companies accelerate data aging and select test data for 20XX testing, and "Smart Code Walk-through," which helps companies check renovated source code.

Cap Gemini America first scans and analyzes renovated source code using the ARCdrive(SM) toolset, a technology which has already helped more than 300 businesses worldwide address Year 2000 issues on over three billion lines of code.

The scanning and analysis process can be completed within as few as two weeks after complete source code has been received by Cap Gemini America's Application Renovation Center(SM) in Tarrytown, NY. Companies can then be in a position to age test data for 20XX testing and check the quality of their renovated code using special QUICKcheck(TM) tools.
