Under the terms of the agreement, NTT Data will acquire 95% of the shares of Capgemini Japan, which will operate under a new corporate name and as an independent subsidiary of NTT Data. NTT Data will leverage Cap Gemini's leading position in Europe to offer Japanese customers professional IT consulting services. The alliance will provide Cap Gemini's customers in the US and Europe with opportunities to access the Japanese market by using NTT Data's systems integration, networks integration, and outsourcing services.
