The building is located directly adjacent to the new convention center in downtown Salt Lake City. Wasatch Capital, a subsidiary of Canton, purchased the property in November 1994 for $800,000. Canton Industrial is holding a 20 percent interest in the property. The company believes that it will be able to sell this property for $3-4 million due to the building's proximity to the new convention center, the currently improving real estate market, and the recent selection of Salt Lake City as the host of the 2002 Winter Games.
