Canon eschews print & launches online magazine; new show in '07.


"At a time when companies are increasingly evaluating the return on investment for advertising," Canon Communications (Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850. , CA) will begin the online-only publication of "Advanced Design & Manufacturing" in January 2007. It will have a controlled circulation of 200,000 purchasers, specifiers and related design and manufacturing professionals that recently either attended or registered at one of Canon's four major advanced manufacturing trade events. It will initially be published on a quarterly basis.

Canon said that "AD&M" will feature the latest innovations in advanced manufacturing and will carry highlights of the newest products and services. It will also provide direct links to categorized cat·e·go·rize
