Canon U.S.A. changes names of sales subsidiaries to reflect new direction in office equipment industry.


LAKE SUCCESS, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 25, 1996--Haruo Murase, president and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  of Canon U.S.A. Inc. announced today a name change for the company's four sales subsidiaries.

Effective immediately, "Business Solutions" has been added to the name of the four companies. These companies are now known as: Affiliated Business Solutions of Burlington, N.J., Ambassador Business Solutions of Schaumburg, IL, Astro Business Solutions of Gardena, CA, and MCS Business Solutions of New York City New York City: see New York, city.

"The office equipment industry is experiencing a transition from traditional stand-alone products to networked applications," Murase said. "The new names of our sales subsidiaries will reflect this new direction in the industry, and the solutions Canon can provide its customers through our subsidiaries," Murase added.

Ambassador Business Solutions Inc. headquartered in Schaumburg, is a leading provider of Canon office equipment in the Greater Chicago area.
