The software, developed by Heidelberg Digital L.L.C., employs an open industry standard PDF-based workflow front-end to enhance pre-flighting for document assembly, viewing, editing and proofing. The hardware workstation works seamlessly with the new software to deliver maximum speed and efficiency. -- ImageSmart Production Software, which ships standard with every imageRUNNER 110 and leverages industry standard Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) to expand imageRUNNER 110 functionality and use within the marketplace. -- Document Inserter, a new imageRUNNER 110 accessory offering a 4,000 sheet paper capacity with the ability to insert easily both pre-printed color and image-rich documents into black-and-white documents, without slowing workflow. -- Canon imageSCANNER 65 Production Scanner, supporting both Simplex and Duplex scanning while delivering true 600 x 600 dots-per-inch resolution at its full speed of 65 pages-per-minute.
