), has added to its product line a new laser fax-based device that provides compact "all-in-one" digital fax/print/copy capability at a price attractive to most small and home offices. The new Canon LASER CLASS 510 offers a small footprint in a user-friendly device. It will be available later this month through Canon authorized dealers and Canon Business Solutions locations. The suggested retail price is $1,695.

"Despite the growth of e-mail, fax still remains a reliable technology that continues to support the daily correspondence of organizations," said Chris Sedlacek, assistant director, Canon U.S.A. Integrated Business Systems. "A powerful imaging device such as the LASER CLASS 510 can serve the primary needs of organizations and also compliment operations when an electronic document can't be opened or e-mail systems go off line. Products like the LASER CLASS 510 also remain the key transaction method for mortgages, legal documents and medical referrals."
