Canon U.S.A. Introduces Three New Additions to Its Media Line-up for imagePROGRAF Large Format Printers.


New Media Types To Address The Growing Need For More Versatile Media Products

LAKE SUCCESS, N.Y. -- Canon U.S.A., Inc., a leading provider of digital imaging and office solutions, today introduced three new large format media types for the Company's line of imagePROGRAF large format printers - Canon Roll-up Gloss Film, Artistic Satin Canvas and Premium Plain Paper. Canon also announced the popular Adhesive Matte Vinyl Media is now available in a width of 60-inches.

Key features of the new media include:

* Roll-up Gloss Film, 240gsm - As a strong and flexible Specialty Sign, Banner, and Display Media, this media features an increased opacity Refers to being "opaque," which means to prevent light from shining through. For example, in an image editing program, the opacity level for some function might range from completely transparent (0) to completely opaque (100).  due to the gray backing layer which prevents show-through, a durable polyester base and a high-gloss surface. Available in sizes ranging from 24-inches wide to 50-inches wide, the Roll-up Gloss Film can be used in collapsible banner stands or can be framed.

* Artistic Satin Canvas, 350gsm - Easily stretched for framing art reproductions or sewn sewn
