The Canon MS-350 builds on the features of the popular MS-300, introduced in February of this year, by incorporating remote control of commonly used functions, facilitating easier access for individuals with disabilities and greater productivity for high-volume applications.

As the latest addition to Canon's flagship line of digital Microfilm Scanners, the new MS-350 expands the document management capabilities of microfilm by providing direct connections to a wide range of systems. Offering four scanning modes, simple controls, and standard SCSI SCSI

Employing scanning speeds as fast as 5.5 seconds for a standard letter-size frame, the Canon MS-350 Microfilm Scanner delivers superior image quality at up to 600 dpi optical resolution through Canon's patented BASIS sensor technology. Users can select output resolution, which ranges from 200 dpi through 600 dpi. The MS-350 supports multiple scanning modes, including black and white and grayscale In computing, a grayscale or greyscale digital image is an image in which the value of each pixel is a single sample. Displayed images of this sort are typically composed of shades of gray, varying from black at the weakest intensity to white at the strongest, though in  and scans images that are up to 8 1/2" x 14" in size.

The MS-350 comes standard with Canon's powerful CapturePerfect software that allows for convenient image capture, Scan-to-Email, PDF file See PDF.  saving, text enhancement and image quality adjustment capabilities. A user-friendly Scan Panel provides easy access to a wide range of automatic features such as border removal, trimming, centering, full framing, automatic page size detection and deskew. For further convenience, the MS-350 enables the user to set these preferences for later recall.

The MS-350 is also compatible with Canon's optional image.SCAN software, which offers users even greater control, with step-by-step video tutorials and an easy-to-use touch-screen interface.
