Following the final development of the connectivity solutions, Canon U.S.A. and T/R Systems are expected to announce marketing and channel distribution plans for the products at a later date in the fourth quarter of 2001.

Imaging Systems Group. "This new alliance will give Canon the opportunity to offer our customers an even greater range of production options that will fully leverage the strengths of T/R Systems MicroPress with our award-winning imageRUNNER and CLC devices."

Among the Canon devices that will initially be offered with connectivity to the MicroPress document production server include the imageRUNNER 105, 8500, 600, 550, and 60 models, and the CLC 5000.
