The partnership will enable Arizona State to transform into a Sustainable Digital University using Canon digital technology, while allowing them to create a new university standard for digital document management and handling, and ensure their continued national leadership role in sustainable research, education and solutions.

Canon will initially assist Arizona State in deploying a digital print management program across its campuses, and improve the institution's existing copy centers with Canon's award-winning imageRUNNER line of copiers and multifunction products. Canon will also open a digital showroom on the Tempe campus; sponsor relevant student activities; and work with Arizona State University to identify cooperative research projects, as appropriate, for future consideration; as well as use Arizona State as a test laboratory for new Canon digital technologies.
