-- Bubble Jet Printing -- Canon's full line of color desktop and
photo printers for the small office/home office customer
features the unique Canon ThinkTank System -- individual ink
tanks which allow the end-user to replace only the color that
has run out, a great cost savings for Canon customers.
The Canon ThinkTank System also features an Optical Low Ink
Sensor to alert customers before they run out of an individual
ink color. PC World, which recently tested the Canon S450
Bubble Jet printer with the Canon ThinkTank System stated,
"Canon has finally shipped an ink jet printer that outperforms
most of the competition" and the magazine rated the Canon
ThinkTank System as a key feature in stating the S450 printer
is one of the least expensive printers they tested for cost of
ownership per year (PC World, November, 2000).
The full line of Canon Bubble Jet printers with the Canon
ThinkTank System (estimated street prices of $99(a) to
$299(a)) will be on display at the Canon booth.
-- Internet Appliance Printing -- Recognized as the leader in the
emerging Internet Appliance segment of the printer market,
Canon has led the way with printing solutions for wired
consumers. Canon's recent announcement as the exclusive
printer companion for 3Com's Audrey is the BJC-85W (estimated
street price $299(a)).
The Canon LR-1 PrintStation, which originally debuted earlier
this year and was the industry's first printer specially
designed for cruising the Net in the living room environment,
works with WebTV and AOLTV systems and has a current estimated
street price of $149(a). Canon also offers printing solutions
for MyTurn.com's GlobalTV with the BJC-2120 as well as the
BJC-2115 for the Netpliance i-opener Internet appliance
devices.
-- Portable Printing -- Canon commands an 83 percent market share
of the color portable printing market according to NPD

its line-up of three models, the BJC-50, BJC-55 and BJC-85,
Canon will be demonstrating a Bluetooth wireless printing
solution on its BJC-85 printer, a Bluetooth solution developed
jointly by Canon Business Machines and Troy XCD.
