The imageCLASS 2300 provides a perfect workgroup solution with copy and fax capabilities while the imageCLASS 2300N adds network functionality for printing, scanning and PC faxing. Copy and print speeds have both increased to provide the busiest office environments with a highly productive and efficient solution to get the job done.

Canon designed the units to serve office workgroups and small business enterprises. With speeds of 20 copies per minute in letter size and with Super G3 fax(1) functions, the imageCLASS 2300 delivers as a multi-tasking device. Other features include a 50-sheet Automatic Document Feeder In multifunction or all-in-one printers, fax machines, photocopiers and scanners, Automatic Document Feeder or ADF is a feature which takes several pages and feeds the paper one page at a time into the scanner, allowing the user to scan (and thereby copy, print, or fax) , 11x17 inch copy capability and two 250 sheet front-loading paper cassettes. In addition to the productivity features, Canon has designed the imageCLASS 2300 and 2300N to use the Canon Single Cartridge System. This system, by using one cartridge containing both toner and drum unit, is user replaceable. This cartridge is included with the unit and has an approximate yield of 10,000 pages (based on a 5% density original).

The imageCLASS 2300N (Network model), adds the ability to perform network printing with both PCL (Printer Command Language) The page description language for HP LaserJet printers. This model will also allow for PC faxing right from the individual PC workstations to and through the unit.

"The new imageCLASS 2300 and 2300N models offer significant productivity advantages to general office and small business users who want greater performance from their multifunction device," said Tod Pike, senior vice president, Sales and Marketing, Canon U.S.A. Imaging Systems Group. "From higher engine speeds to greater document handling and software capabilities, the imageCLASS 2300 and 2300N represent an excellent overall value proposition in today's SOHO Soho (sōhō`, sə–), district of Westminster, London, England, known for its continental restaurants.
