Cannon Express delists from amex.

Cannon Express Inc. has begun proceedings to voluntarily delist its securities from the American Stock Exchange.

Trading of Cannon's shares has been halted since Oct. 14 because of the company's inability to meet certain continued listing standards. The shares last traded at $1.36.

The truckload dry van carrier company said it expects to file its Form 10-K for the fiscal year ended June 30 and its Form 10-Q for the first quarter ended Sept. 30 with the SEC by the middle of this month.
