Production begins May 19 during the Cannes Film Festival for telecast in the U.S. shortly before the 58th Annual Golden Globe Awards.

Murder at the Cannes Film Festival is just one of the four original movies that E! Networks will offer at L.A. Screenings 2000.

Best Actress, based on the novel by author John Kane, is a wry comedy about one actress who would literally kill to win the Academy Award. The tongue-in-cheek look at the Oscar race features a star-studded cast, including international model Rachel Hunter, Loretta Devine (Waiting to Exhale exhale /ex·hale/ (eks´hal) to breathe out.
