Candidates asked to submit convocation fee upto Nov 20.

HYDERABAD, November 13, 2009 (Balochistan Times): Controller of Examinations University of Sindh Jamshoro Friday advised to all those concerned candidates who desired to receive their degree or confer medal in Academic Convocation-2008 of the university to submit convocation fee up to November 20, 2009. He said that the candidates who have passed Bachelor and Master Degrees examinations as external or regular candidate from affiliated degree colleges or pass side or Honours side examinations from the university under Bachelors or Masters Degree Programme up to 2008 can apply to receive their degrees in the convocation. The candidates who have passed LL.B examinations from affiliated law colleges and LLM examination from the Institute of Law up to year 2008 can also apply to receive their degrees in the convocation, he added. The Controller of Examinations informed that the scholars who have passed M.Phil or PhD Degree Programme from the university are also eligible to receive their degrees in the convocation. He has advised the candidates to submit their applications written on plain papers addressed to his office along with a copy of paid challan of convocation fee. The convocation fee has been fixed as Rs 1300 for Bachelor and Master Degree and medal if medallist while Rs 2000 has been fixed for M.Phil and PhD, he said and added that the candidates can deposit fees through challan at Habib Bank Limited Jamshoro or send Demand Draft or Pay Order enchased at Habib bank Limited Jamshoro.
