Herron is an Australian brand of pharmaceutical and natural healthcare items. , who stood as an Independent candidate in Sunderland North at the General Election, missed his expenses deadline last week and could face a pounds 5,000 fine. The expenses are collected by the city council's elections office, open to public inspection and copies are then lodged with the Government's election watchdog, the Electoral Commission Electoral Commission (1877) Commission created to resolve the disputed 1876 presidential election between Republican Rutherford B. Hayes and Democrat Samuel Tilden. Tilden had won the popular vote and was only one electoral vote short of victory, but the Republicans . All candidates must file expenses to show their spending was within legal limits. The spending limit for candidates in Sunderland North, where Mr Herron won 2,057 votes, was pounds 10,057.30. A Commission spokeswoman said not filing expenses was an offence. Mr Herron, in Belgium campaigning for European Union reform and a referendum referendum, referral of proposed laws or constitutional amendments to the electorate for final approval.
