Candia Author Publishes Contemporary Book of Poetry.

Stephen Redic's new poetry book is entitled Out of the Rain: Conversations with Spaces between Leaves

CANDIA, N.H. -- Stephen Redic knows how to tell a story. The poetry featured in his new release covers topics such as abuse, nature, the Civil War, and thunderstorms thunderstorms

a storm characterized by thunder and lightning caused by strong rising air currents; identified as agents of animal disease because of their involvement causing (1) spasmodic colic; (2) lightning strike; (3) injuries of cattle acquired in stampedes initiated by storms.
. Redic thinks good writing should ask the questions that everyone is thinking, but no one dares to speak. He wrote Out of the Rain because some friends challenged him to write something that spoke the truth about how he feels.

"'I believe' may be the two most powerful words in any language," said Redic. "That one phrase allows each and every person to rise up and make their selves better today than they were yesterday."

Redic's poetry speaks to the underdog. His poem "No More" is an anthem for abuse victims. His poem "Never" was read at a rally for murder victims and the poem is traveling around the country on a quilt for victims.

Redic will appear on the WNTK 99.7 FM radio program, "Twin State Journal" with Dr. Janine Weins. Dr. Weins has interviewed several notable guests including First Lady Barbara Bush, Former President Bill Clinton, and authors Janet Evanovich Janet Evanovich (born April 22, 1943, in South River, New Jersey) is an American writer.
