Candela Corporation (NASDAQ: CLZR) announced today that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has cleared for market the Company's new GentleLASE(R) family for permanent hair reduction in all skin types, including tanned skin; and has also cleared the new GentleLASE family for the treatment of benign pigmented lesions.

The Company said the new GentleLASE family was now cleared for the treatment of: wrinkles, permanent hair reduction in all skin types, vascular lesions such as leg veins, and benign pigmented lesions.
