Candela Corporation (NASDAQ:CLZR) will introduce the Smoothbeam, a revolutionary new non-ablative diode laser technology for skin renewal, on January 12, 2001 at the International Master Course on Ageing Skin (IMCAS) in Paris, France.

At IMCAS's Cutaneous Multilaser Master Workshop on Friday, January 12, at 8:00 p.m. in the Maillot Room, Dr. Dilip Paithankar will discuss the new Smoothbeam laser in his presentation, 1.45(mu) Diode Laser for Non-Ablative Dermal Remodeling.

Smoothbeam's unique LASR (Laser Assisted Skin Renewal) process offers proprietary Candela technology for collagen remodeling.
