The complaint asserts that Palomar, through its StarLux(TM) system, willfully willfully adv. referring to doing something intentionally, purposefully and stubbornly. Examples: "He drove the car willfully into the crowd on the sidewalk." "She willfully left the dangerous substances on the property." (See: willful)  infringes United States patents 6,659,999 and 6,743,222. The complaint also asserts that Palomar, through its Q-YAG 5 Q-Switched laser system, willfully infringes upon United States patent 5,312,395. Candela is seeking monetary damages and an injunction that would stop further acts of Palomar's infringement associated with these products.
