Cancun Recognized as Top Destination for Holiday Travel by Orbitz and Travelocity.


CANCUN, Mexico -- Recent bookings from the top online travel site Travelocity reveal Cancun as the number one international destination for holiday travel, outranking London, Cabo, Jamaica, and the Bahamas, among others. "Cancun is the ideal location for the holidays," says Arturo Escaip Manzur, General Director of the Cancun Convention and Visitors' Bureau. "Our people are as warm and sunny as our climate, and you can afford to bring the whole family for a great vacation."

Orbitz also places the destination in the top five for international holiday travel, listing Cancun in the number two spot, according to according to
