Spirit Airlines, Detroit's second largest airline, announced today that starting on April 8, 2005 it will introduce year round, non-stop service to Cancun, Mexico from Detroit. Connecting service to Cancun through Detroit will include flights from New York/LaGuardia, Las Vegas Las Vegas (läs vā`gəs), city (1990 pop. 258,295), seat of Clark co., S Nev.; inc. 1911. It is the largest city in Nevada and the center of one of the fastest-growing urban areas in the United States.  and Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850. . This is Spirit's first non-stop international service from Detroit.

Fares when booking at spiritair.com between Detroit and Cancun start at $129*. Customers need to book by January 31, 2005 for travel April 8, 2005 - May 24, 2005.
