Cancer kills Golden Girl; TELEVISION.GOLDEN Girls actress Bea Arthur has died after losing her battle with cancer. The 86-year-old, who played Dorothy in the classic 80s sitcom was ill for some time. Her personal assistant Dan Watt said she had passed away peacefully at home. Her death comes nine months after her Golden Girls co-star Estelle Getty died aged 84.
