Cancer advice session.AN advice day on cancer is coming to Huddersfield. Specialist nurses will hold their annual bowel cancer information day at the Briar briar: see brier. Court Hotel, Birchencliffe, on April 23. The day will give information and advice about bowel cancer and about a new screening programme to be launched across Kirklees this month to mark national Bowel Cancer Awareness Month. NHS Trust staff will be available at the hotel from 10am to 3pm. They will be joined by people from the trust's bowel cancer support group, the Huddersfield Cancer Support Group, the Ileostomy ileostomy /il·e·os·to·my/ (il?e-os´tah-me) surgical creation of an opening into the ileum, with a stoma on the abdominal wall. il·e·os·to·my n. 1. and Urostomy u·ros·to·my n.
