Getting There & Parking The San Clemente Relay for Life to benefit The American Cancer Society takes place at Richard T. Steed Memorial Park, 247 Avenida La Pata, San Clemente. Signs with big purple arrows will be stationed at major intersections around San Clemente, guiding attendees from the freeway and other major arteries to Steed Park. Best freeway off-ramp is Avenida Pico, travel east (inland) two-and-a-half miles to La Pata, and turn right. Free parking is provided in two parking lots within Steed Park, as well as on La Pata just outside the park.
