CAERNARFON Town face another crunch clash against lowly Caersws today.

O'Shaughnessy said: "It is yet another must-win game but, mind you, they are all must-win games nowadays.

"If only we could keep a clean-sheet - and we have not done that all season so far in 21 games - we would make things a lot easier for ourselves.

"It is the same old story but we need to defend better and to stop giving our opponents two or three goals every game, while still expecting to win.

"We are likely to score in most games, and so, by sorting out things out at the back, we would give ourselves a much better chance of getting the result that we want."

The Canaries have lessons they need to learn from that 4-0 debacle at Aberystwyth Town last weekend and the same players are expected to be there to try to respond.

Lee Bamber is also a doubt.

Caersws, however, will be banking on more reward on their travels, writes John Bridgwater.

And boss Mike Barton hopes that run can continue against Caernarfon.

"It's another chance to drag someone else into the mix," he said. "We were disappointed not to beat Neath last week when we were 2-0 up, but I still believe we're heading in the right direction."

The Bluebirds have a couple of inj ury concerns in Jamie Haynes, Sion Meredith and Mark Griffiths, while Steve Towers returns to action.
