EuroTrust A/S (Nasdaq ADS: EURO) today announced it has completed and a new three-year agreement on distribution of dk4 via satellite to the Danes receiving TV via parabolic or local antenna association.

Canal Digital Danmark and the Danish TV channel dk4 have just signed a new three-year agreement on distribution of dk4 via satellite to the Danes receiving TV via parabolic or local antenna association. The background for the new agreement is a very successful cooperation with an explosive growth of more than 400 per cent.

"It is only three years ago that Canal Digital took over the satellite transmission and the distribution to antenna associations of dk4 - and both parties have enjoyed this cooperation tremendously," says Managing Director in Canal Digital Danmark, Jens B. Arnesen.

He reveals that in this period a growth of more than 400 per cent has been generated in the number of households, which can receive dk4 from Canal Digital Danmark. This explosive growth has been achieved by virtue of a progress in both the market for parabolic TV and in the number of antenna associations receiving the dk4 signal from Canal Digital Danmark. In this way, today, approx. half a million households receive dk4 from Canal Digital Danmark.

"dk4 is in many ways an interesting channel which we are happy to cooperate with. Partly, the channel is very much aimed at Danish productions, and partly it is a channel, which all the time tries to change. That dk4 has just entered an agreement with Team Palle on showing boxing is a good example of the continuous development of the channel in the direction of what the Danes want to watch," says Jens B. Arnesen.

At dk4 they are just as exhilarated. "The new agreement secures continuity and security of supply in relation to the viewers and at the same time makes it possible to continue the development of new programs and a general strengthening of the broadcasting surface, "promises Communication Manager Steen Andersen.

The growth of 400 per cent is quite obviously a new TV record for a payment TV channel in Denmark. And it can be established with certainty that dk4 has beaten all records this year by more than 210,000 viewers for the annual final in speedway, where Danish Nicki Pedersen became world champion. More than 90 per cent of dk4's programs are Danish - probably another record.

Approximately 1.2 mio. Danish households can at the moment receive dk4. In general terms this corresponds to half of the Danish population and more are joining all the time: "One of the biggest successes is that the antenna associations choose us again after the first period - and to me this is the best praise you can get. Once the viewers have experienced what we supply they do not want to do without us again," concludes Steen Andersen.
