Canadian Zinc Closes Additional $175,000 Flow-Through Financing.

:CZN) is pleased to announce that the previously announced non-brokered private placement financing (December 30, 2005) was increased from $500,000 to $675,000 by the issuance to MineralFields Group of an additional 205,882 Flow-Through Shares at a price of $0.85 per share.

 of 6.5% in cash and issued 14,411 share purchase warrants, each exercisable to acquire one additional share at $0.85 per share for one year, in respect of the additional financing.

The total proceeds from the financing of $675,000 will be used to incur To become subject to and liable for; to have liabilities imposed by act or operation of law.
