Western Canada, commonly referred to as the West
winter drilling and well completion program. During the first three months of 2005, Canadian Superior drilled 4 gross wells (3.15 net) and completed 11 gross wells (5.5 net) which resulted in 10 gas wells (4.5 net), one standing cased gas well (0.75 net) and one D&A well (1.0 net). This success compares favorably to Canadian superiors 2004 drilling & completion success rate of over 90%.

Of particular interest during the 2005 winter drilling and completion program were natural gas discoveries at Drumheller and Windfall. At Drumheller, the Company has recently completed the drilling and testing of a 100% W.I. gas well that A.O.F. tested 10 mmcf per day which is expected to be initially placed on-stream at 2.3 mmcf per day with 40 bbls per day of additional condensate condensate, matter in the form of a gas of atoms, molecules, or elementary particles that have been so chilled that their motion is virtually halted and as a consequence they lose their separate identities and merge into a single entity.  production. Drumheller is located in Central Alberta Central Alberta (also named Alberta's Heartland) is a region located in the Canadian province of Alberta.

Central Alberta is the most densely populated rural area in the province. Agriculture and energy make up an important part of the economy.

) wells (W.I. 30%) were successfully completed with a combined test rate of 1.2 mmcf per day.

In West Central Alberta, Canadian Superior also announced today two natural gas discoveries in the Windfall area. One gas well (100% W.I.) was successfully drilled, completed and tested at 1.5 mmcf per day and a second non-operated gas well (40% W.I.) was drilled, completed and tested at 750 mcf per day. All of the above wells are currently in the process of being tied in, and it is anticipated the wells will be on production, after breakup, in mid May, and add to Canadian Superior's growing Western Canadian production base.

In addition, at East Ladyfern, Canadian Superior completed the drilling of its Slave Point operated exploration test well (75% W.I.) located at L.S.D. 01-26-91-11 W6M. The well was drilled to depth and cased, but due to unseasonably warm weather in this winter access only area, the Company was unable to complete and evaluate this well prior to spring breakup and the prospect will be further evaluated during the next drilling season.
