.) has won The Outstanding Railroad Performance Award for 2000 from UPS Autogistics for its top-level transportation of finished vehicles.

UPS Autogistics, a unit of the UPS Logistics Group, said CN took top honors among Class 1 North American railroads based on its on-time performance, service design, equipment, communications and overall value.

UPS Autogistics manages the logistics of finished vehicle distribution for Ford Motor Company, among other clients, and presented the award to CN at UPS headquarters in Atlanta, Ga., at its first annual rail conference.

Kelley Anderson, executive director - railroad operations, of UPS Autogistics, said: "CN's performance in 2000 was outstanding, reflecting tremendous team work within its own organization and with other transportation providers to ensure the timely distribution of finished vehicles in a scheduled network."

Ed Harris, chief transportation officer for CN, said: "We're honored by the award, a clear recognition of the benefits of CN's comprehensive service plan that schedules every aspect of our rail operations.
