CN Intermodal, a business unit of Canadian National, will implement i2's demand planning (forecasting) and supply chain planner (network planning) solutions over the next year. Intermodal transport -- rail haulage of containers and truck trailers -- is CN's fastest-growing business segment. CN's year-to-date intermodal traffic is up 14 per cent from the comparable period of 1999.
