MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 30, 1996--Paul M. The Cooperstown Conference, held annually is sponsored by the Eastern General Managers Association, the Association of American Railroads and, the Regional Railroad Association.

The Right Hand Man Award is given once a year to a railroader who has made outstanding contributions to the railroad industry in North America North America, third largest continent (1990 est. pop. 365,000,000), c.9,400,000 sq mi (24,346,000 sq km), the northern of the two continents of the Western Hemisphere. . It was the 1st time that a Canadian was honoured.

In accepting the award, Mr. Tellier indicated he wanted to share it with all the men and women who work for Canadian National and have helped building the new CN. "They are agents of change in the revitalization of our railroad. Together, we have drafted the CN success story," he added.
