 has issued a patent for the use of Anipryl(R) for the treatment of dogs, with conditions including canine Cushings Disease and Cognitive Dysfunction. With patents now issued in Canada, the United States and other jurisdictions, the Company is in a strong position to enforce its proprietary patent rights and defend itself against infringement by other parties. Yesterday, Draxis announced that it had received Health Protection Branch approval for the use of Anipryl(R) in canine Cognitive Dysfunction which considerably broadens the Canadian market potential for Anipryl(R).
