Previously Anne held the role of President of the Human Resources Professionals Association of Ontario (HRPAO HRPAO Human Resources Professionals Association of Ontario (now Human Resources Professionals Association) ). The HRPAO is recognized as the leading voice for the human resources profession in Ontario, comprising over 14,000 members.

McMaster's School of Business was founded in 1952 but was renamed in 1992 in honour of successful Canadian entrepreneur and philanthropist Michael G.
