(CHC CHC Chicago Cubs CHC Community Health Center CHC Chestnut Hill College (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) CHC Congressional Hispanic Caucus CHC Community Health Council (UK National Health Service) ) Tuesday announced that its International helicopter operating division, Canadian Helicopters International and its Thai partner, Thai Aviation Services (TAS TAS abbr. 1. telephone answering system 2. true airspeed ), have been awarded a five-year contract plus a two-year option by Unocal of Thailand to support its offshore production in the Gulf of Thailand Noun 1. Gulf of Thailand - an arm of the South China Sea between Indochina and the Malay Peninsula Gulf of Siam South China Sea - a tropical arm of the Pacific Ocean near southeastern Asia subject to frequent typhoons . CHC and its partner, TAS, have been servicing Unocal Thailand for 20 years. The contract involves a combination of S-76A + medium and S-61N heavy helicopters and is expected to generate revenues in excess of $70 million over the seven year contract period.
